Come on down to the FFA Breakfast at the park! It's going to be hoppin' good times with a heapin' plate of grub. The Green River Utah FFA Chapter is cookin' up a storm at the pavilion at the O.K. Anderson park. Fill yer bellies before the Melon Days parade kicks off! Tickets are available until 10 AM Saturday, or while they last. All money raised goes to support these hard-workin' FFA Kids. Come spend an evening and enjoy some Wild West Barn Dancing. Anyone ages 10 and up can do it! We teach all the dances on the spot so everyone can have a great time together. At this Barn Dance you’ll get to try your hand at Lines Dances, Round Dances, Prairie Dances, Contra Dances, Cowboy Dances, and some Square Dancing too. If you live in the West, but have never tried western dancing, then this is the perfect time to do so. Come learn and laugh and mix with people in a relaxed but high energy environment. Melon Carving PartyFRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH | 7:00PM | 180 S. BROADWAY
Please join us for our annual melon carve! Free to the public. All experience levels encouraged --- even if you've never carved a melon before! Open to all ages, but minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Bring your own melon and tools. We can help with ideas and carving if you need it! Spectators, loiters, and looky-loos are welcome. All melons must be entered into the Melon Days melon carving contest by Saturday morning at OK Anderson Park. |

Melon Carvings must be carved from Local Melons. You may submit pictures of your carved Melons starting Sept 1st to [email protected]. Those who wish to display their Melons at the Park may bring them to the City Booth by 10:00am Saturday Sept 21st. Both Virtual and Day of Melons will be added to the Contest. Winner receives a cash Prize of $100! |
