Come on down to the FFA Breakfast at the park! It's going to be hoppin' good times with a heapin' plate of grub. The Green River Utah FFA Chapter is cookin' up a storm at the pavilion at the O.K. Anderson park. Fill yer bellies before the Melon Days parade kicks off! Tickets are available until 10 AM Saturday, or while they last. All money raised goes to support these hard-workin' FFA Kids. Come spend an evening and enjoy some Wild West Barn Dancing. Anyone ages 10 and up can do it! We teach all the dances on the spot so everyone can have a great time together. At this Barn Dance you’ll get to try your hand at Lines Dances, Round Dances, Prairie Dances, Contra Dances, Cowboy Dances, and some Square Dancing too. If you live in the West, but have never tried western dancing, then this is the perfect time to do so. Come learn and laugh and mix with people in a relaxed but high energy environment. At the O.K. Anderson Park Stage. JANETTE - Lead Vocals, Keyboards, Rhythm Guitar, Percussion, FUN, and has been in the entertainment field forever. Playing in venues in Vegas and the Western, Midwest, and part of the Eastern circuit that has given her an edge of knowledge and versatility that will keep the audience captivated and coming back for more. She has many diversities in her vocals, from Heart to Pat Benetar, to Zepplin, to Shania Twain, but with the edge of Fun! (are you curious yet?) She does this because she thoroughly enjoys entertaining an audience. You might way she is a little wire/less! TED KONOLD - Bass, Lead Vocals, FUN and has 40 years of active experience playing with artists such as Buck Trent, J.D. Moffat, Midnite Expression, The Rumbletones, along with many others. As the originator of the band OUTERSITE in 1975. IAIN CAMERON - Drums, FUN and came to the U.S. from Scotland in 1973, bringing his roots of the British Invasion with him. Iain has a strong, sound, rhythm for ANY type of music. He has performed with Those One Guys, Mourningwood, Rumbletones and has played on USO tours in Alaska. His unforgiving dance beat is a pleasure for all. CHRIS HAMILTON - Lead Guitar, Vocals, FUN and is a graduate of the University of Utah in Jazz. He has played with many local musicians and groups. He brings a new measure of music to this group, with lots of flavor to the style of music they perform. He has impeccable perfection on such songs as Magic Man, Hotel California, Stevie Ray Vaughn... just as a dash for your curiosity! |
